This is a wide rail shaker style door. Wider rails sizes are gaining popularity.The Glencairn door is a wide rail version of our Lancaster door. The wider rails are preferred as door sizes increase. If a kitchen is large or has large size doors you may prefer the look of the wider rails. The wide rails carry a nominal upcharge (less than 10%) but it can make a dramatic design difference.
